It’s Sunday, it’s time for a brunch!
From noon to 3pm on Sundays, come and enjoy a relaxing moment with the brunch of Le Barboteur.
With family or friend, you can relax in the sun on the terrace, or admire the beautiful view of the Deûle and its barges from the restaurant. Located on the Quai de l’Ouest in the Bois Blancs district, the restaurant is a stone’s throw away from the city center.
Friendliness and brunch
Sunday brunch is above all about spending a convivial moment with friends or family. That’s why we offer a brunch menu with sweet and savoury plates to share. To go with your food, you can also choose your drink according to your mood. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate, juice, beer or a glass of wine: the whole drinks menu is available.
At Le Barboteur, there is no obligation or set menu, you choose what you like!

Local and fresh products
Let us surprise you! The restaurant’s brunch menu is short-lived and changes every two weeks. Our chef Vincent draws his inspiration from French cuisine, and likes to add Oriental and Asian touches to tickle your taste buds.
Every Sunday, he offers five savoury dishes and three sweet ones. He always uses fresh and local products, and do all his best to reduce the food-waste. Our products come from local farms and craftsmen from the Hauts de France. We’re very concerned about our environmental impact, that’s why we try to use the different parts of each product to avoid food-waste as much as possible.
Family brunch
with children
Come with your family! For the youngest, Le Barboteur offers its kid’s menu on Sunday lunchtime. Cooked with fresh products, it is designed to please the little gourmets…
For babies, we provide high chairs and a changing table. We also lend them our coloured pencils so they can have a good time while their parents enjoy the moment.
Group
Brunch
A large group for a brunch? Group reservations are possible for the Sunday brunch. The restaurant can host up to 60 people inside and 80 on the terrace. For a special event such as a wedding or birthday brunch, we can privatise an area of the restaurant and put it at your disposal. The mezzanine on the first floor enables you to welcome your guests in complete privacy. If you prefer to enjoy the outside, we can book a part of the terrace just for your group.
